Honeysuckle Blossoms

These lungs were made to breathe
So I take in the fresh, crisp air today
Finding memories flooding back

It’s orange honeysuckle blossoms
Which remind me of the happy days
Of my wild, adventurous childhood

Playing in a backyard that was anything
Anything my imagination could dream up
And I was the king waiting for my queen
